SSC SI ASI Eligbility Criteria 2017:

Sub Inspector(SI) & Assistant Sub Inspector(ASI) in CAPFs, CISF and Delhi Police exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. This exam recruits for the post of Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) , Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

SSC CPO has recently released recruitment notification for Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF. 

Date of Computer Based Examination for Paper-I is 30-06-2017 to 07-07-2017.

Date of Paper-II exam is 08-10-2017.

All the candidates hereby request to fill the application on or before the Closing date for receipt of application which is 15-05-2017 (up to 5.00 PM).

CPO Age Limit (आयु सीमा)

Upper Age Limit: 25 Years

Lower Age Limit: 20 Years

Age limit for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years. Upper age limit is relax-able , check below.

SSC CPO Education Qualification (शैक्षणिक योग्यता)

below is the required education qualification for SSC SI ASI in Central Armed Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force and Delhi Police.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institution.

Please note that all the Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Note on chest and Height

  • No chest criteria for Female Candidates.
  • You need to present valid certificates to get height relaxation.

Physical Efficiency Test(PET) (Delhi police/CISF/CAPF)

For male and Female different PET criteria is decided.

For Male PET Criteria

  • 100 meters race in 16 seconds
  • 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
  • Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances
  • High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances
  • Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chance

For female candidates PET Criteria

  • 100 metres race in 18 seconds
  • 800 metres race in 4 minutes
  • Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances
  • High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.

Nationality

A candidate must be either : a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Medical standard:

Eye sight:

  • The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction.
  • The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
  • They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
